She received her Diploma in Chemical Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Currently, she is a Ph.D. candidate in Chemical Engineering, at the Laboratory of Petrochemical Technology (AUTh). She has many years of experience in organizing and setting up educational, hands-on activities for elementary and high school students. ​She participates in the organization of the ACSTAC student conference and the Anatolia College Math and Logic Competition. Villy also works as an online program instructor in CTY Greece. She has worked as a volunteer in several organizations and institutions, including TEDx Thessaloniki and the Thessaloniki Science Festival.
